Huawei has recently announced some great news! The company is going to integrate the application Android Messages (formerly called Messenger for Android) into their mobile phones. The exact time is not yet clear, but the wait will be no longer than a couple of months.
That step proves to be very important to all Huawei users. It will be their chance to ‘meet’ the RCS technology. RSC stands for Rich Communication Services. If you wonder what that is – well, in a brief, it may remind of you of the traditional SMS messaging. However, there are certain differences as one of them is obvious – RCS is a way better! RCS is full of colours, visual effects and various functions. You will be able to create group chats, send texts via Wi-Fi, and exchange high-quality photos with your friends. What is more, RSC allows you to follow the activity of any user you are connected with. In addition, Huawei makes you a promise: if you use Android Messages, then you will benefit from one more great option – making video calls via ViLTE (Video over LTE) and Google Duo.
Huawei wants to speed up the introduction of RCS in order to make it available to more users. Every expert at that reputable firm thinks about all the details which can affect their plan – both major and minor. So, it is no surprise they consider helping the mobile operators bringing in the innovation. For that purpose, Huawei will go into a partnership with the biggest in technology – Google. They will offer their customers the so-called ‘cloud decisions’ by Jibe. The latter is a company which is already a part of the Google ‘family’. Thanks to Jibe Hub, mobile operators would take advantage of a simple connection to the global RCS network.
Currently, Android Messages works with RCS, MMS, and SMS. You can download the app from Google Play Store for free. Installing it is a quick and easy process. More and more people find Android Messages a better, lighter and more comfortable alternative to the standard SMS application. Why not give it a try?
